How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
My closest friends have been constantly talked about this great training. One said e.g. "why waste your time, just do the real thing". After some time I got myself inscribed and life is not the same since then. Brussels, 2010
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
When I participated in the training, I felt very much at ease with the hosts as they were speaking my language (meaning on the same weave length). At the same time, I was surprised how much restistance we encountered in people. I am very keen to become a host myself and consider myself at the moment as a starting practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My focus in my work are especially women in lesser developed regions in Europe. Women are the motor of society. If you train a woman, you train society. However, I also love to work with business people as they are used to come up with new ideas, they are often very dynamic and full of energy. I support core teams which see then themselves as catalysator in their region/environment.
Where do you live/work?
I live currently in Brussels
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I was always interested in communication and personal development which leads to organisation development and finally to the development of society. Last year, I started a women group and business leader group in my native region which I would like to expand to other regions. I belief in the Humain capacity to develop and I find it most passionating to support it.
