Me again! I've already been in touch with some of you (and thank you for your generous responses) - and I'm really keen to hear from anyone else who is active and if they have any links to anyone else in the AoH community…"
Melbourne in March might just be possible - I can find a reason to be there quite easily as my fiancee is from those parts, and it's her 30th in March! What are the dates/details?
I was referred to AoH by Carl Chenery,…"
This group is to keep sharing, learning and growing together our practice of collaborative leadership... and it starts with an amazing group of people who participated in the training in Belgium in Sept. 2010.
How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Carl Chenery, at Regeneration NZ Summer Jam 2011, Christchurch, New Zealand
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I would love to train to become a practitioner to hold regular 'collaboration cafe' events in Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand to raise the profile and entrepreneurial start up of social enterprises in the area. I will be a new practitioner although I have some previous facilitating experience (not with AOH)
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
thanks for your inquiry about getting something of the ground in New Zealand.
My best advice would be to connect to Mary Alice Arthur, who has been involved in most of the trainings there.
Normally you need a caller, someone who sees a need and are willing to step up and call a training. Then you need a good hosting team and preferably someone experienced - a steward of aoh, who holds the DNA of the trainings.
