Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I was introduced to this new sphere of learning by my beloved brother with whom I have worked and talked about type of work for years. Not only are we connected by family, but our professional paths have crossed several times as well. I was so happy to find a community of practice with which to connect!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am currently a starting practitioner. I historically have worked with schools and school districts in leadership development and school change to make better learning environments for children. I now am moving into assisting and supporting systems, organizations and individuals in a transformation process that allows them to connect to their humanity, purpose and right expression.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I just recently completed my doctoral work in transformational leadership as a type that changes how organizations and systems go about their day-to-day practices so they become betters places to work, create and make a difference. I am interested in broadening this work---especially in education and education policy.
Where do you live/work?
Chicago, Il
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Understanding chaos so that it provides opportunities to individuals and systems so that we create spaces to connect to our humanity. I am also very excited about this work and am willing to share and be a thought partner to anyone who needs one!
