How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
The co-founder of Hub Melbourne, Brad, introduced me to AoH by bringing me to the training in Warburton Australië in March 2010.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I'm a starting practitioner and have joined the community of practice in Melbourne to practice and learn more.
We have used AoH methodologies to build the community at Hub Melbourne, to build a strong core team and to define our shared purpose, values and principles.
I also have been part of the harvesting team of the Hub Summer School in Rotterdam and Amsterdam in 2010 and been exploring the art of harvesting. We have produced a beautiful document that presents the collective learning of HSS.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Hosting a physical space that inspires, enables and supports people for positive social change.
Welcome, Nynke -- glad you joined our community, since you've been spreading these practices all over the world in person! I hope it serves you well. Please upload a picture when you have a moment, so we can "see" you here! Hugs to all at the Hub!
