How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I heard about it from someone who attented a meeting about it in Leuven, Belgium. I looked for the website. I love the idea of people connecting to find ways to make people communicate in an open and constructive and effective way.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I've been working as a teacher in primary school and our education system is something that triggers me a lot. I worked in Freinetschools and I'm now thinking on other ways of schooling, besides classic schooling and homeschooling.
My work is now is player and trainer in Applied Improvisation techniques. Through our plays and trainings making people talk about things that matter is often a main goal. I see that as a way of hosting. We are exploring the work of Augusto Boal which is also for me a way of communicate, in a very strong and playfull way. I'm familiar with world café and also attended a magnificent open space meeting not so long ago.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
