How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I participated in Egypt's January 2012 Art of Hosting. I am interested in methods of cultivating hospitable environments where humans self-organize and new systems emerge - especially in music.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
My musical research and work with Zambaleta reflect many of the Art of Hosting's values and techniques. While I have only recently joined the Art of Hosting, I am familiar with much of the literature and concepts brought up in the practice and have for many years worked on integrating these into my work.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Beside Zambaleta, I am working on an exciting initiative where we apply many of the Art of Hosting techniques to foster cultural understanding among people living along the Nile and as a means to solve environmental challenges within the region. www.nileproject.org
