How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
The first time I experienced the Art of hosting was last year, around July of 2013, with Margaret Drescher, from Nova Scotia. This was part of a meditation program in Colorado, where Margaret lead us on Open Space and World Cafe. I have been hearing about AoH for a while before this. What attracted me was the easiness with what people got invited and the space that was created that supported a wonderful conversation where people were engaged and passionate about contributing to what mattered to them the most.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
At this point I have experienced really great facilitators, like Margaret Drescher, Otto Scharmer, Dana Pearlman, Ashley Cooper and Marc Togniotti. I can put myself in the starting practitioner slot. I feel ready to start developing as a facilitator's path.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I would like to work with with people that feel they have a lot to offer but don't know how to go about it or where to start. And most of the time don't have confidence in themselves.
I would also like to work with Social Entrepreneurs
Where do you live/work?
San Francisco, CA
Would you like to share a web address?
http://Don't have one yet.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I am very interested in using arts, specially theater and clown work to help people get in touch with their vulnerability, (our place of power).
Also I am being trained to offer Social Presencing Theater with Arawana Hayashi. I would love to share these great tools.

Welcome to the Art of Hosting practitioner network, Mery!  Please post a photo and let us really "see" you here.  Then have a look at all the groups you can join from language to specific interests and regional groups. The more you contribute, the more we can contribute to you!
