How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I learned about AofH through a local All Our Kids Early Childhood Network, which led me to attend an AofH Illinois event in Springfield IL, May 2010.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
While I still feel a novice, I've begun bringing in AofH concepts/practices, including Open Space Technology, World/Pro-action Cafes, Circles, The Work, Appreciative Inquiry, and Harvesting into my work, volunteer, and personal worlds. I look forward to a time when AofH becomes a natural way of being.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
AofH applies to all areas of life.
Where do you live/work?
Quad Cities, Illinois
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
There's not much in the world I'm not interested in, but I would say my passions run deepest for nature, gardening, all things early childhood, and any team endeavor.
