How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Exploring the Internet and knowing people who have attended over the past two years.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): New! I am a Montessori teacher and was head of school for 11years, so the methods feel consistent with my general approach to leadership and guiding groups. I have now shifted completely into work around communiy involvement and public engagement and looking for new tools.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Right now it is work to increase community involvement with education reform. We hope that healthy, inclusive, thoughtful dialogue on this topic can be a model for conversations on other important issues in our community.
