Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I have followed Meg Wheatley and Berkana for twenty years. I work with groups of all ages and love to nurture personal and group transformation. Participated in an AoH in 2003 (I think) on Whidbey Island as professional development for my job directing leadership programs.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I left that training (2003) excited and inspired - but, it didn't really gel...until recently. I founded Gross National Happiness USA in 2009. The Art of Hosting seems an appropriate, possibly perfect, tool for gathering the growing energy emerging all over the country (world) I am a "starting practitioner" with great faith.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
To change what we measure from wealth to well-being.
Where do you live/work?
Vermont
Would you like to share a web address?
http://gnhusa.org
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Increasing well-being, redefining wealth, travel, wandering and living simply, Buddhism and developing compassion.

A very warm welcome Linda

Hope you find this space useful and will help keeping it alive and vibrant.

I would love to hear more about your work with the GNH and wellbeing. For me this is alot about changig our paradigm og both wealth and development - what we are striving towards. I now live in Colombia, who score high in terms of happyness and are facing a situation where they need to redefine, I think what development model they will engage in.

Well I would love to connect and hear more - I will be in Vermont in August, so that could be a chance to meet up.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Warm regards

On behalf of the online hosting team
