How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I initially learned about the Art of Hosting approach during a Circle Way training hosted by Tenneson Woolf and Amanda Fenton on Whidbey Island in 2016. I was attracted to it because at the time I'd been using Christina Baldwin and Ann Linnea's approach in my prenatal yoga classes, but had never had any formal training in hosting.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I would same I am new/starting.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I work in the perinatal health (pregnancy, birth, and early parenting) sector, and am in interested in learning more about hosting in order to facilitate and/or convene conversations among stakeholders in our local perinatal health ecosystem, who often reference how siloed and disjointed it is.
