How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
At the BALLE conference through Debra's presentation of Walk Out, Walk On...and then exploring on the internet - have followed Meg's work for years! But I fell in love when I read Walk Out, Walk On...this is the work I want to do!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I was at AoH on Bowen Island in 2011 - have had some tastes of world cafe and open space through Leadership Tomorrow but this was my first experience learning how to facilitate it. I am feeling comfortable with facilitation and less comfortable with the harvesting and recording - want to learn more about how to effectively harvest and graphically record.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Community conversations on multiple topics - my primary focus is on community capacity building, education and philanthropy...
