How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I learned about the Art of Hosting through the website (and work) of Peter Block. I have been thinking a lot about my own community and the transformation it needs to undergo. When I read Peter Block the ideas he was presenting were exactly what I had been thinking, just better formed and articulated.

Where do you live/work?

Welcome to the Art of Hosting community, Kori! Glad to see you here! Please post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you.   To get started, have a look at the conversations that are being posted and the events coming up.  You might also want to become part of the listserve by going to www.artofhosting.org and signing up there.

There is a strong practitioner group in Columbus, Ohio -- contact Tuesday Ryanhart.  There's also a strong group in Chicago -- contact Lina Cramer.  I heard about some of the good work Detroit is doing to rebuild itself through Filiz Telek (her blog is called "BraveNew World") after a learning journey she was on with Meg Wheatley.
