How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: My new and amazing colleague, Kathy Jordain. She facilitated a session I was in August 2011. I love how the conversations come together to create meaningful outcomes.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I learned about Appreciative Inquiry when I did my certification in executive coaching at Royal Roads University. I'm looking forward to delving into that area further.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Team effectiveness

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I love writing and I am the author of two books - one on career transformation called Nail It! Six Steps to Transform Your Career and a middle grade fiction book called Raphael's Riddle. I am currently working on the sequel to my first children's book. I live in Halifax with my husband and two small children.
