How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Windhorse Farm sent me the information on the Art of Hosting on September 26-28 in Halifax. What inspires me to attend is that I feel a need to be able to assist groups of people, small or large, in finding their way along the path of personal and collective transformation.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I am very new to this practice. For the past couple of years, I have been doing some reading on Open Space, World Café, and so on, and have facilitated one Open Space here in Truro.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: My work with hosting will include my work as Cultural Animator at the École acadienne de Truro, in which I work with educators, students, families, and the larger community to help them explore, preserve, and cultivate their cultural and linguistic identity.
