How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I read the world cafe book around 2005 and have been attracted to gathering people together ever since.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I shared the art of hosting through the world cafe in an annual gathering to providers of service that support individuals with disabilities. In every gathering that i have been responsible to host i have used the hosting principles. Besides the disability world i have used this formate with youth groups, time bank gathering and continue to share the value of these techniques. Experienced practitioner with allot to learn still.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Individuals with disabilities, helping them to develop leadership skills, families and provider agencies. my dream is to get all interested parties in the disability world of California for a diverse and sustained conversation on the topics that matter to create the change we want to see.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Bringing people together in a safe and hospital space to have authentic conversations.
