How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Learned of AoH through Chris Corrigan. First attended an AoH event in 2008 on Bowen Island, BC

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): Having spent 15 years as a community 'facilitator' I was first interested in AoH to learn more about certain methodologies. However, at the AoH week, I learned so much more than methodologies! The shift from facilitator to host has infused my practice as an ED of a non-profit umbrella organization and in my consulting work. It is the way I prefer to work now. While still learning every time I step into a hosting place or work with my AoH colleagues, I am an experienced practitioner

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Community social care, hosting difficult community conversations on social issues, collaborative practice
