How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Through an email from Kathy Bell, Director of Healthy Communities, Cape Breton District Health Authority on August 5, 2011. I am interested in doing more facilitation work and believe this conference will help me with obtaining the skills to be a better facilitator.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I would say starting practitioner. I have participated in a few world cafe's and I have incorporated versions of world cafe in planning workshops for the Interagency on Family Violence, Public Health Services, AIDS Coalition of Cape Breton and training in cultural competence within the Cape Breton District Health Authority.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Health promotion and prevention work

Where do you live/work?: Addiction Services, Cape Breton District Health Authority
