through Berkana's link (summer of 2009) and attending an AoH session (2009)and ALIA institute in Nova Scotia (2010)
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
we have used the AoH practices and, when I was working, sponsored an AoH in Alaska for young Alaska Native Leaders. We are in the beginning stages of startin a Community of Practice in Anchorage, AK. As to my competence, I'm a starting practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
difficult conversations and initially focusing on the indigenous peoples of Alaska but now moving more to the greater community
Where do you live/work?
I don't work anymore - retired/starting my next phase
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I've loved the AoH list serv and the conversations which seem to feed my soul and passion. I'm really interested in connectivity between people, finding common ground, building community.
