Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Invited by HR Director Aug. 24. 2011
Seems like it will build on leadership skills I have learned recently in another course. I may become more involved in this type of work as my career progresses.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have no experience with this, yet, so I would definitely describe myself as new.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I work in a public library and this kind of hosting has been used to gather public input. It could also be useful in other strategic discussions with staff.
Where do you live/work?
Live in Lower Sackville, NS and work in Clayton Park in Halifax
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I am a student of karate and through my practice I have become interested in the power of mindfulness and breathing. I have learned how very small things can have a big impact.
