How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I am not even sure any more, but as I recall my wife found out about a couple of years ago. It resonates with what we are trying to do through A Small Group, founded by Peter Block,in Cincinnati.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I am new, but I think because of the A Small Group work I have some understanding of the process. We did have one joint meeting the AoH community in Columbus, OH. Toke was there.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: We don't have one other than hosting itself.

Welcome to this Art of Hosting online community! Indeed, what you are doing with A Small Group is very, very close with what we are doing with the Art of Hosting. I think we are/were more focused on giving trainings in it, so that the skills and knowledge can travel... I guess that is some of the difference. We recommend the Community book of Peter Block as one that describes quite well what AoH is about - because we don't have a book written on AoH itself.
