How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?

I took part of a training in 2009 in SP and was fantastic, I realized i want to use these techniques and toold in my everyday life, including work, familiy and friends, because it makes me feel very good. and the others too!

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)

i can say i've been a practitioner already for some years, since AIESEC and YMCA where i used to work with young people, welcoming them in a new organization and facilitating working groups to develop leadership and sense of community. I also have dealed with a lot of foreign people, welcoming them in our country and introducing them to our culture. Now at work we are bringing The Hub initiative to my city, and our work is focused on attracting and hosting people to work together at the same place and sharing their ideas and projects. Its been a pleasure.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?

Good humored, energy and open arms to receive people and introduce them to the place and the other people, making connections among them.

Virtú - The Hub is a part of it (in Belo Horizonte-Brasil)
