Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I attended the ARt of Hosting training in Karlskrona in March 2011, before that I experienced the methods and philosophy of Hosting from the practitioners here in Ireland and they sowed the seeds of curiosity to learn about it more deeply.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I would say I use many of the tools in my work, on a weekly basis at least, working with all kinds of groups mainly in a non-formal learning context. However, I lacked the critical understanding and the Big Picture that Art of Hosting brings. So I would say I am a starting practitioner and now see the tools i used many times before quite differently.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I work in development education- education for a more just and sustainable world. I organise and facilitate learning processes related to development education. I also try to bring creative methodologies into this work.
Where do you live/work?
Dublin, Ireland
Would you like to share a web address?
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Harvesting! creative ways to harvest and also ways to host the harvest for deeper meaning making...
