How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I learned about AoH by attending two events - the second with a small step as a starting practitioner. Increasingly the organisation (Wesley Community Action) I lead is moving in a direction consistent with AoH principles.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
AoH feels quite natural to me. It is a combination of self orientation with skills in specific 'tools'. Modestly I would refer to myself as a starting practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Authentic relationships in the social services space (sperm to worm and everything inbetween - child / youth / aged / .....
Client Directed Outcome Informed approaches - linked to heart and soul website.
Organisational Development - organisations that think and function as movements.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
de-colonisation - role of white people in moving beyond colonial legacy
Gangs - working along side groups people tend to label as 'gangs'
Spirituality - letting go of what we have been taught is important.

Welcome! Nice to see that Hannah is being a role model for staying on the keyboard at night. I'm really wondering how the international community will take the "sperm to worm" concept... Who knows, it may really take off!
