Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
From other facilitators in my region (MN), who attended the training and thought it was fantastic. I'm always interested in learning more facilitation skills and how to get people really engaged. We always need more practice to hone our skills and I want to connect more to make this happen.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I'd say I'm new. I've been community organizing for a few years professionally and as a volunteer. I'd also say I'm pretty committed to becoming better and better.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I can't really say one, but I can list a few: environmental activism/transition towns/sexual violence issues/feminism/ permaculture/intentional living/freedom to marry/nontraditional family/loving kinds...and so on and so forth.
Where do you live/work?
Twin Cities (Minneapolis and Saint Paul), MN

Welcome to the Art of Hosting community, Corrine! Please post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you.
