How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I think I first met Toke Paludan Moeller, Monica Nissen, Jan Hein and Carsten Ohm in 2001 where we worked together in an EU-funded project for entrepreneurs. I experienced the FlowGame and other methods and instantly felt at home with this ethical approach. I started my journey into this area and there met and worked together with Sarah Whitley, Maria Scordialos, Sven Ole Schmidt, Filiz Telek, Nora Kasniska and many others...
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I'm an experienced practitioner of the collection of methods and approaches that is The Art of Hosting. I have taken training in Open Space Technology, Circle Practicum and Appreciative Enquiry separately as well participated and co-hosted several Art Of Hosting Trainings since 2001. I'm also a FlowGame practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I constantly train to question all and never fall for easy answers of right and wrong. It is ethics on the edge...
I believe that the best leadership is the one that is inspired by the wish to create a better world, where all life is happening in a way that gives us all a future on this planet beyond just the next generation.
