How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Learned about the Chaordic Path from a group facilitator and followed the links to Art of Hosting on March 24, 2013.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I had never heard about the Art of Hosting until today, but in own life and as a grass-roots volunteer I embrace the idea that, if we are not so uncomfortable and too eager to move away from chaos in our lives and organizations that there is an amazing potential for creativity.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Community environmental sustainability, I sit on the board of two community organizations and additionally am actively helping create a collaborative stewardship organization for the protection and restoration of a publicly owned forest tract.

Where do you live/work?: I am retired and live in a rural area of Ontario, two hours NW of Toronto.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Curiosity. Learning.
Nature, outdoor recreation, community bonds.
