How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I first heard about this set of practices and principles a couple of years ago from my good friend and colleague Jerry Nagel. I was fortunate to attend an AoH training with Tokey Moeller and Monika Nissan during the 2010 ALIA Europe gathering in Mennerode, Netherlands.

I am energized by the opportunity to apply AoH principles and practices to the work I do in Minnesota as part of the leadership team for Blandin Foundation, a private foundation dedicated to strengthening rural Minnesota communities. I am also privileged to have theh opportunity to contribute to the broader work of building and supporting a community of AoH practice across the state, as part of InCommons, an inititaive co-sponsored by Bush Foundation, the University of Minnesota and others.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Community engagement around inclusivity, educational attainment and economic vitality
Where do you live/work?
I live in Grand Rapids Minnesota and my work brings me across the entire state of Minnesota.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I believe that the greatest challenge for us at this time in the world is to particpate consciously in the evolution of increasingly conscious systems. I am excited to meet and work with others on this path.
