How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I learned about AoH from Jay Standish, a friend in Seattle in 2009... I'm attracted to this community and way of being for many reasons, but most succinctly because I love listening and gently guiding group energies, seeing what emerges when intentionality is set... I believe I have a nack for setting this stage, and I'm coming to understand what tools I need to more confidently pursue a lifestyle through it...
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I don't have much experience in the AoH, other than hosting intentional discussions in activist type settings... I'm definitely a newly-starting practitioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Intentional Community processes...
Where do you live/work?
Sebastopol / Occidental CA
