Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I have used most of the techniques in my community and through my volunteer work, but I am still very much an apprentice.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: Community Development

Where do you live/work?: In the Prospect Road Area of Halifax Regional Municipality

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: Shift focus of community from self interest to community interest. Take a non-profit and turn it into a "Social Profit" Build a community fund to support some of the core voluntary sector work in our community, create opportunities and attract investments.
