How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I went to my first AOH training in the UK at Hawkwood in 2005, quickly followed by a leadership journey in South Africa with Berkanna and further AOH trainings over the years.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Hosting is an integral part of my life. I guess I am an experienced practitioner in that I have intentionally chosen to practise the art of calling, inviting, convening, hosting and harvesting for the past 8 years. I am deeply committed to nurturing new forms of leadership in the world that invite participation and collective intelligence. This is my work.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Connecting with my local communities - growing new forms of participation, orgainsation and deeper relationship to place
Sustainability and deep ecology
