How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?

Attending a short training about building communities in April 2013. I was very interested about the "community" topic and the tools and techniques for managing this in a professional manner.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)

I attended an AoH 3 days training in Bulgaria in 2014 and several training in Bucharest about specific techniques like Pro Action Cafe, Circle Practice, Open Space Tech, World Cafe. I was part of a community core team more 8 month using only AoH instruments and reshaping/redesigning the community from the basis. I also was part of the design, organization and facilitation teams for several events (one-day events or 3-4 hours events) using this tools. I started and managed a parenting community using these tools. I was supporting several communities core teams and tribe leaders with diagnose and advises on sensing, using tools and methods for better sensing and communication inside the community/tribe.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?

I intend to become a community consultant and develop a competence and resource center.

Starting a community, diagnose of a community "health", teaching, advising and coaching community core teams on re-connection with the members, engaging and improving communication, strategic design/ redesign, harvesting and other relevant topics that need to be addressed, coaching, facilitation and supporting through the process and main milestone, reunions, events and meetings.
