A community of Practice for Art of Hosting Practitioners to talk about the work

This is our third Community of Practice Meeting for Melbourne.

We are using the Chaordic Steps to design the COP.

We have looked at the need and our next meeting will continue with a discussion of purpose.

So far our purpose is ; to Host ourselves in order that we are able to host others.

This arose from a discussion about noticing that some people were feeling burdened by the role of hosting and participants noting that with all the shiny new toys on offer at a 3 day AoH  the first of the 4 fold practice steps "host self" was often missing in people's practice. I wonder if limited time to host self is also an effect of the time pressures we all face in our daily hurried lives?

We will hold the space open to talk about this important/necessary practice.
