We aim to provide a forum for anyone interested in working with Art-of-Hosting-style techniques in India and culturally related regions.
We are a loose group of practitioners interested supporting AoH in India. You don't need to be Indian nor live in India to join.

There are a number of very fine AoH practitioners in India and a few international ones that frequently visit India to support the field. In addition, there is a growing community of Flow Game practitioners. This forum, however, i not actively used. To get in touch, feel free to leave message here anyway or send an email to the official AoH Mailinglist where your inquiry will find much resonance.

We are building the wider field of AoH India (including activities that showcase/offer AoH techniques in smaller formats as well as future AoH trainings). The intended AoH Bangalore training (planned for early September 2013) was postponed indefinitely as part of our learning around the challenges of preparing a full training in a region where the field is not yet strong yet the desire acute.
Regular skype calls aimed at building the wider field once a month. Dates are published on the Calendar of Events page and offered on-demand so please get in touch! The aim is to offer those interested with a venue to voice their opinions and ideas and to support initiatives promoting AoH-style ideas on the ground.
Our harvests and field notes are available on the Harvest from Skype Calls page (out of date - ask mischa)

please add your suggestions and possibly price estimates/ranges to venues that would cater for an AoH training for up to 100 people.Continue

Thank you Mary, Ria and Steve.
This is indeed very exciting. I have not spent that much time in India yet, but I resonate with your words an reflections Steve.
I will get in touch with you to make sure we have our "perceptions" tuned to listen to any invitations sent by this fascinating country.
Thanks again.
Carlos
Hi Carlos. Welcome to this group and for bringing some new energy to the conversation. I spent three months in India with the intention of exploring what wants to happen there and of seeding the field for Art of Hosting. I discovered a lot of interest and many collaborative/participatory practitioners, most of whom are working in relative isolation, some of whom are familiar with AoH and others who are quite interested in learning. I sense that there are seeds germinating in various places in India and I am continuing to wait for a clear call.
I will likely be back in India in September, perhaps for a few months to tend the field and to hopefully connect some of the practitioners and to work with what wants to emerge. One of the biggest learnings for me in India is the importance of patience and trusting the emergent process. Continually, I was reminded that I need to wait for an invitation to let go of my arrogant belief that I have something that "they" need.
I would love to connect with you, either by email or Skype and to explore possibilities for the time we will be in India.
with gratitude,
Steve
I know Steve Ryman has been doing some AoH related stuff in India. I will invite him to this forum!
Thanks for making connection, Carlos! Great to know there is more energy coming into this field.
Hi everyone!
I´ve known the AoH for a couple of years, and have been fortunate to facilitate a couple of events in Northern Mexico.
I recently moved to New Delhi.
What has been you experience with AoH in India?
I would love to get involved and contribute to promote AoH in this fascinating country.
Hello all,
I think that an AoH training in India is a great thing. I was in India in the beginning of this year and know a few people to whom I could spread the invite. They live in Bangalore. They work here: http://www.thegreenpath.in/
Let me know once this becomes relevant, then I am happy to contribute in this way.
Best greetings,
Ursel
I just want to send my support to your efforts in India!
A warm welcome to Ursel. Do feel free to read our harvests and join our calls if you are interested in supporting the upcoming AoH training in India.
Dear friends,
It is so exciting... to me it feels like a wonderful next step from our AoH Budapest in 2010 when natasha ( and Lamu ) came from that part of the Globe...and because since then I talked a lot to the SoL frineds in bangalore about this process and perhaps we can assist to the emergence of this process there...I certainly am IN...
