How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I was first trained in Art of Hosting in June 2011. Since then, I have helped host 4 Art of Hosting trainings as an employee of the University of Minnesota's Center for Integrative Leadership and a co-steward of the UMN AoH Community of Practice. I immediately saw the power of hosting practices and patterns to not only step into my own leadership but transform higher education.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am an active practitioner, seeking to integrate AoH practices and patterns into my person life, my volunteer leadership roles and my professional life. I am an emerging practitioner, having served on hosting teams for 4 AoH trainings and used the practices to host community conversations on a number of different issues.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
