How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: Last year, a good friend of mine took part in Art of Hosting training. Her excitement about it and seeing how it has changed her perspective definitely peaked my interest!

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I'm in Public Relations/Communications and currently am in a role where I focus on internal communications. How we connect and engage is important to me and I really believe that allowing people to be heard, having open dialogue, and genuine engagement throughout an organization impacts employee satisfaction.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: I'm not sure how to answer this at the moment but I am going to go with engagement. I'm there to help connect people, and to help share messages and information. Sometimes this comes in the form of building a communications strategy and deliverables to share organizational changes and decisions, other times it's to build something to thank people for the hard work they do. It can be such a range!

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I love words and writing! Couldn't live without the ocean and music. And I very much enjoy my lattes.
