How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
06 2011: my wife passed a training on aoh at her agency
09 2011: I participated in a circle training by Ann and Christina in Brussels:
What attracts me most:
the participatory approach
the power of the circle (and the collective in order to do change that happens)
the attitude (towards people, organization, change, the globe...)
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
My experience with aoh is by being in contact with quite a couple of people who have practiced it for years on the one hand and my circle experience on the other hand which i have already practice at several occasions (e.g. I brought it in a systemic executive education that I am currently go through). Well, my competence is very much from systemic, which has a lot in common. So I might be a starting practioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My core work is on substantial change. Consequently, my primary field in hosting work so far is supporting organizations, individuals, networks, etc. in change processes and projects that make a different.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Substantial sustainable change to the better of society, organizations and the world
Networks that make a difference
Nature (sailing, mountaineering, ski touring)
ZEN
and last but not least my family

I was thinking of you yesterday, on the TPC call, and while writing the prototype proposal to the Foundation. Love receiving this thread from you today :) b
How nice to hear from you. I hope that 2013 is off to a wonderful beginning for you. I continue to be a nomad and to love the beautiful experiences that life has offered. I am currently in the airport, leaving the US after a whirlwind 5 week visit and now off to Zimbabwe. After a few weeks of working with the youth leadership program at Kufunda, I will be very curious to discover what life has in store for me.
Hello Holger! Lovely to hear from you. How great that the 4 of you came together to host a PAC, I can believe it was a powerful one and especially in a real Viennese café! Those projects will be carried well... ;-)
I'm looking forward to connecting with Lena and Rainer next week in Brussels.
Hi Holger, good to see you here too! Just read your profile info, it reminded me of the organizational constellation workshop I just took part in. Systemic approach to groups is another interest of mine, too.
Hi Holgar - how fab is that ! Great to see you here and what good news, if you need a hand or a shoulder you can count on me. Good luck my friend Linda
