How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I heard about it the first time on a summer camp in the ecovillage 7Linden in Germany in 2007 (i think?). I participated in four trainings, co-organized one of them and hosted my first one as an apprentice at YIP in Sweden.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
i am an somewhat of an experienced practitioner. for me the social and energetic field around the methods is the most interesting part. respecting the methodologies and striving for the imagination, dream space and process design...
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Thank you dear Benjamin :) .. the spirals continue to merge into different circles that show up in the right time ... so now I join the AoH online community and meet you in the ongoing journey ...
Thanks Benjamin! I have been following the Art of Hosting through the list serve already, and have found the postings to be very interesting, informative and thought provoking! I thought I would join through the Ning site as well, in case some things were circulated only through this source.
LG, Frauke
Thank you for the note and confirmation of my membership here on Art of Hosting. Yes, I have heard of PeerSpirit Inc. and will be attending their August Circle practicum on Whidbey Island, WA in a few weeks. I am soooo excited too!
I will update my profile page with a photo and other info and look forward to joining your collage and meeting and networking with other professionals here.
Yes, Lisa had mentioned someone was interested in the heartfield concept.
It's simply another word to describe a group that is acting at a high level of vibration or state of consciousness, perhaps measured by David Hawkins with kinesiology. You know what that feels like from different group experiences that are part of the AoH.
I've been fascinated by the research at PEAR, now ICRL out of Princeton. http://www.icrl.org
Also the Global Consciousness Project, all using random event generators to pick up coherence of a group. http://noosphere.princeton.edu/
Check out these measuring tools produced by Psyleron. They are all intertwined. http://www.psyleron.com/
Journalist Lynne McTaggart gives lots more in her books, The Field, and now The Bond.
We've been observing this for 10 years, mainly in St Petersburg FL with ripples out across Tampa Bay now. I enjoy applying the new sciences to affect large system change - such as a town, city or region.
Thank you for the welcome. Picture is up. I have requested to be "friends" with folks form Oregon. But there are so few! I am surprised. Looking to meet others who are bring AoH to their work and life.
Many thanks for your kind & welcoming greetings. I've been avoiding computers & social media lately .. so many people spend such large amounts of time on them, I thought I should experiment with other methods of communication before we lose them all to screens!
It has been wonderfull .. a beauty of a typewriter found me & I've been enjoying the combination of her type with colourful marker-pens..ooh yes! Hitting the streets to gather ideas and enjoy conversations with strangers. Running into folks rather than emailing. Getting lost in the woods. Moving back into a forest tent part time. Lovely.
My story has a point: signing onto the ning with slight reluctance, your message brought me a feeling of strong connection to the people, knowledge & joy of this AoH online community. So, thank you.
Looking very much forward to seeing you again (soon?) & co-creating.... something.
Thank you for the welcome Benjamin. I will be joining the training in Halifax next week and I'm very much looking forward to it. I've uploaded my picture!
Hi Ben - yes, I am joining the Halifax group on Monday. Have been reading the journal and am intrigued! It seems like this may compliment my Peer Leadership training nicely.
The profile picture is of my dog Maggie diving for sticks at a wilderness retreat in Nova Scotia!

It is great to reconnect with you through several mediums and from such far away places.
It has felt like ages since we were dancing together in my house at Art of Hosting Karlskrona but the greatness has not left me.
Thanks for the warm welcome to this community. I take great excitement in co-evolving together.
I wish you all the best life has to offer. I'm back in Canada (Calgary to be more specific) and always know that you are welcome to stay.
Big hug,
Matt
