How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Awareness of the Art of Hosting was a gradual process for me. I learned about various parts, e.g. world cafe, through my work in recent years but it all came together when I attended the Warburton training in August 2011. During this training things simply 'clicked' for me and I realised that I had been 'hosting' for years and felt that it truly is the role the universe wants me to play.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Although I am officially only a starting practitioner, I realise that I have unknowingly been practicing the art of hosting (or maybe just participatory leadership) for years. Everything about it resonates with me on a very deep spiritual level and I intend to make it a core part of my life and work in future.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Leadership development - creating healthy, happy and productive workplaces where both employers and employees flourish.
Where do you live/work?
Victoria, Australia
