How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
i saw in a turistic site, one of the members had this "title"; it caught my attentions because i am always hosting people and i found interesting to find it as an art!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
well, originally i am a medical doctor and worked in public health; as i left the conventinal medicine, i tried lots of different things and ended working with womens small farmers with organic agriculture and small agribusiness. i make handcrafts - paper, sewing, cooking, planting... and i like good conversatios! i am a very curious person....
as for hosting i always had people coming to my house - friends, guests.. i worked with the AFS exchanged program and had lots o studantes staying with me.
now i am living on the southeast coast of brazil. on a very bautiful beach. i am dedicating myself to my arts and i am turning my house in a space where i can have people coming and being able to share the things i like and do
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
i like the cultural exchange, knowing other experiences of living. also i like to help people on healing themselves, havin gsupport for changes.

in my own house
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
planting - specially food! i have a beautiful garden with plenty os good things to eat!
also i like hand work
i used to havee pen pals and i miss exhanging letters.. emails are not the same!
i like to eat together, make nice meals
