Through friends in Germany at Cool Ideas Society, through work with groupworksdeck.org, Sera Thompson & Marguerite Drescher in Nova Scotia
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Creating space to reflect on how we can live values-based lives and finding passion-based work. Helping move projects, ideas, dreams in action. Community workshops to create sustainable change for current self-identified challenges / change wishes. Using the arts and creative approaches in facilitating progress in this work.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I am also passionate about Pattern Languages (approach based on the work of Christopher Alexander and applied to facilitation in groupworksdeck.org) and Design Thinking in the contexts of education and social challenges.
