How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
From my spouse, Bob Stilger. First attended an AoH gathering in western Washington state 7 years ago.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have facilitated over 900 meetings, gatherings and groups of all sorts since the mid-1970s. Without realizing it, I had incorporated a number of AoH ideas into my work and was delighted to learn from and expand my own practice with the AoH approach.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I tend to work with nonprofits and government agencies. Recent work has included planning and consensus building for a national forest over several years and conflict resolution for nonprofit groups.
Where do you live/work?
Spokane, WA
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
The belief that by including diversity in our groups and our communities we can create a much better future than by working in isolation.

Hello, Susan-san. Good to see you here, but I didn't know you were not here!! I missed to see you in Japan last month. Are you coming to ALiA this month? I am doing some retreat workshop for Japaneses in Orange County this week and going to Columbus, Ohio.
Welcome, Susan, great to see you here (that is, we will SEE you here when you upload a picture -- got a good one?) and know that we'll see each other again soon! There are plenty of resources to have a look at and conversations to become part of -- I hope this community will be a great one for you and you a great contribution to it!
