How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I would love to train to become a practitioner to hold regular 'collaboration cafe' events in Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand to raise the profile and entrepreneurial start up of social enterprises in the area. I will be a new practitioner although I have some previous facilitating experience (not with AOH)
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
thanks for your inquiry about getting something of the ground in New Zealand.
My best advice would be to connect to Mary Alice Arthur, who has been involved in most of the trainings there.
Normally you need a caller, someone who sees a need and are willing to step up and call a training. Then you need a good hosting team and preferably someone experienced - a steward of aoh, who holds the DNA of the trainings.
