Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Through the Masters in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability program (fall 2012). I appreciate the fact that it is designed to help diverse groups work together effectively and respectfully around complex challenges.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been working with it since the fall of 2012 through the MSLS program. I have attended two AoH trainings and one Learning Village and focused my masters thesis on social capital creation through the practice of AoH in Columbus, OH and the European Commission.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I am a sustainability consultant but I am very much open to applying participatory process principles and methods to any complex social challenge.
Where do you live/work?
I live in Olympia Washington and I work throughout the west and in particular in Seattle, Portland and the San Francisco area.
