How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I participated in the Art of Hosting gathering in the Spring of 2009 at the Marguerite Centre in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada. I was familiar with conversational leadership practices and was attracted to the opportunity to deepen my learning, connect to a new community of practitioners, and work concurrently on issues important to me.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am an experienced practitioner in the Art of Hosting as well, and I was delighted to learn about and experience the Art of Harvesting three years ago. I have built a core service offering for my business Living Tapestries around this work.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Fostering community and connections that enable people to generate insights and move these insights into action, regardless of their context.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
My interests include: social presencing theatre, story and storytelling, place-based collaboration, self-organization, visual learning, harvesting, and reflective conversation.

Welcome, Jennifer, great to see you here (that is, we will SEE you here when you upload a picture -- got a good one?). There are plenty of resources to have a look at and conversations to become part of -- I hope this community will be a great one for you and you a great contribution to it!
