How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I am pursuing a Masters in Strategic Leadership Toward Sustainability at BTH in Karlskrona Sweden. We learned of the Art of Hosting in our Leadership program after which I attended the practitioner's dojo in Copenhagen in December 2010. It was like coming home to the motherland for me! I have been a facilitator for years and this very special group of people felt like old friends.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am attending the training in Kalundborg Denmark (11-14 Jan 2011) to become a new practitioner, although I have been using the techniques of open space, circle, world cafe and appreciative inquiry for many years.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Strategic sustainable development - guiding people through the vital work of creating a new vision of a sustainable future and a strategic plan to achieve that vision
Where do you live/work?
Most recently in Duluth, Minnesota (USA - 3 hours north of Minneapolis). I am currently living in Karlskrona Sweden and am open to new opportunities following graduation in June 2011

    Welcome Tracy

Great to have more MSLS'ers as part of our family here. I was part of the first aoh training at MSLS in Feb and there is much potential between aoh and the sustainability leadership area.
Hope you find this space useful and will help keeping it alive and vibrant.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

    Warm regards

On behalf of the online hosting team

    Hello Tracy,

I just changed the title of your request for involvement in your research - I changed it from 'AoH-research' to 'dialogue basec engagement methodologies'... otherwise people could think it is research on the AoH itself, or the AoH training itself.

I hope you don't mind and keep us posted of how your research is going!

    With love from Belgium,

    Ria
