Profile Information:

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Shambhala Institute (ALIA) June 2002, a prototype experience prior to its becoming AOH.
I had coordinated for five of my colleagues to attend the institute, with each of us registering for a different core module. I was WL for Meg Wheatley and blessedly got re-directed to Toke and Marianne's module, which opened my heart and spoke to a deep yearning to facilitate groups from a different orientation - that of invitation, hosting, and creating and holding the space for genuine engagement and wise action.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
My life and professional work are inspired by The Circle Way and AOH. I am a founding partner in our local community of practice that includes AOH, IAF facilitation, community developers, and people who hear the call and need a place to call "home."
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
The Circle Way in multi-generational settings for emerging and seasoned leaders dealing with complexity and intent to attend to the inner life to live and lead well.
Where do you live/work?
Sherwood Park-Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
