How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I learned about the Art of Hosting in May 2010, but have been exposed to or been working with several of the methods for a couple of years already. Always so much to learn!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
The Art of Hosting and the Circle Way are woven throughout all aspects of my life.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Working with groups to design and host community conversations, meetings, retreats and longer-term change and transformation projects. Teaching The Circle Way as a transformational and collaborative meeting and management process. Creating innovative conference experiences to bring more connection and authentic engagement. Co-leading Art of Hosting Participatory Leadership learning experiences.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Working in small spaces, such as an intimate gathering of women coming together to reflect and renew themselves, or in large spaces such as a 900 person conference event. I love designing and facilitating meetings, gatherings, conferences and more using participatory dialogue processes to create a container for participatory leadership and wise action to emerge.

    Hello Amanda,

    You did something good with making the AoH Ning Helper! Could you make it so that it can be useful for everyone joining the Ning?

    Then I would add that people will need to wait a little before they get approved (=making sure that no spam robot is entering our system).

    Also that they can follow any conversation (without commenting) by clicking the Follow button. This means they will receive an email when a new comment is posted. Of course, you can always unfollow if you want later.

    Would you be willing to do that? That would be a great contribution here!

    Waauw! that was quick!!!

    Great! I added a few minor points. see attached. I wonder, it would be good to send around so that people who invite others to a group can use it. Are you willing to send it through the AoH emaillist - maybe with a little news about what is happening in your part of the AoH world (you CoP)? Before sending out I would make it a pdf.
