How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Through Joanne Kelly and the Peter Block meeting in 2010 in Chicago. Peter is my mentor and I have been facilitating large groups and teaching large group methods for 20 years.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I am an experienced practitioner and have studied with Peter Block, Kathi Dannemiller, Merrelyn Emery, Harrison Owen, Barry Oshry and others to learn from the masters in the field. I have my MSOD from AU/NTL and have continued my studies in democratic processes yearly. I love teaching others about group dialogues and employ these methods in my consulting practice and as a volunteer. I am always hungry to learn more!
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Strategic thinking/planning for business and non-profits in order to find common ground and take right action benefitting the greatest number of people and the planet.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Creative visioning and ideation, learning circles, Open Space, Future Search and hybrid approaches to promote effective dialogues. I love teaching conflict resolution and coaching using Polarity Management ideas from Barry Johnson. ALways seeking opportunities to share Barry Oshry's work on Power and Systems--the Organization Workshop simulation and other learning designs.
