How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
After hearing about the practice for a couple of years, I finally attended a seminar/workshop in Aarhus, Denmark in August 2010. I would describe myself as an ongoing practitioner: even though I am new to the AoH 'brand' I am a very experienced coach, facilitator and consultant. I am happy to keep adding new techniques to my ongoing presence (the sum of all I am, know and can) in the service of the need that calls me.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Facilitating the art of conversations that matter, and decisions that stick.
Facilitating the development of people, teams and organisations to be the best they can be, and continue growing and learning together.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Passion for learning, connecting & questioning.
Interest in digital technologies and their mindful application.
Passion for combining Western analytical and philosophical approaches with Eastern mindfulness and presence techniques.
Interest in facilitating the creation of new forms of organisation for the 21st century.
Dear Ana, did not notice the comments space in here until tonight. would love to talk more, and you would be more than welcome to visit - and have a tour of the University, which, by the way, is in a large scale change process these months.
Yes let's stay in touch! I am up for a Skype call during the coming weeks. My Skype name is: tinabroberg and I'll add you to my Skype list.
It's a large scale change process at the University. One of the changes is that the university and the business school is merging, so that the business school will be working with the department of social sciences i.e. psychology, political science and law. In the wake of this there will be many changes in the department- and centrestructure across fields as well as changes in the management teams across levels. I am still a 'junior' in the system being a Ph.d. researcher, so I am not pulling the strings, but see the potential of many good things emerging from the change process e.g. more cross disciplinary research and a more flexible management structure. Looking forward to hear more about your experiences and what you are engaged in at the moment.
And yes, let's invoke the magic that exists in every moment :)
